Don’t miss Jazz Night at Bordinos this Thursday, May 15th from 9-11pm featuring the Ryan Fourt Trio. Guitarist Ryan Fourt's career began here at the University of Arkansas. After becoming established as a working musician in his own right, Ryan began performing with some of the region's best players including Larry Cangelosi, Richard Bruton, Alan Gibson, and a long musical partnership with his mentor, nationally recognized pianist Claudia Burson. Ryan will be joined by Claire Starr on bass and Andrew Sieff on drums.

Get to the show early enough to enjoy one of the four new “First Seating” 3 course menus, that Bordinos recently unveiled. Each menu is paired with a glass of wine for only $25. The “First Seating” Menus are available Monday-Thursday nights from 5-6:30 pm. Sounds like a deal to us!

Now that patio season is officially here, one of EE's favorite spots is Ella's porch overlooking Old Main lawn. Also, we are excited to hear that Jazz on the Hill will continue through the summer, every Wednesday from 5:30 to 9:30pm, with some of the area's best musicians on the schedule. TONIGHT! Fri, May 9, at 7:00 pm, the Walton Arts Center will host Beakman Live! Based on the Emmy-winning children's science educational TV show, Beakman's World, Beakman Live features Paul Zaloom as the eccentric wacky scientist Beakman, who amazes his fellow humans with a series of death-defying and belief-suspending demonstrations of intriguing scientific principles. He lies down on a bed of needles, makes a roll of toilet paper fly and breaks the sound barrier before your very eyes.

Let’s call those Hogs! Hit the bleachers at Baum Stadium this weekend as the Razorback baseball team takes on South Carolina at 6:35 pm tonight, 2:05 pm on Saturday, and 12:05 on Sunday. Tonight is Team Photo Card Night presented by The Morning news and Steak N Shake. There will also be the annual fireworks display after the game.
